7 Simple Ways To Create Daily Ritual

A ritual can be a simple action or practice you incorporate consistently into your days, where you mindfully pause. This can create powerful, subtle moments or spaces that support our connection to the natural rhythm of nature. And these do not need to be long or complicated. 

7 Simple Ways To Create Daily Ritual:

  1. Start Your Day With The Frequency Of Gratitude - As your first awaken, express gratitude for another day and the human experiences this day holds for you. Perhaps even bring to mind some of the things in your life that you are grateful for.

  2. Thank Your Water Before Drinking - Prepare a large glass/litre of water first thing in the morning, cup the glass with your hands, close your eyes and offer love and gratitude to the water molecules, thanking it for rehydrating you after your fast throughout the night.   3. Ask The Water To Cleanse You In The Shower or Bath - Express gratitude and love to the water as you bathe, asking it to please cleanse your body and energy field, releasing anything that no longer serves you or isn't yours. Added benefits when starting the day with a cold shower.

Look Yourself In The Eyes As You Brush Your Teeth - As you brush your teeth, gaze directly at yourself in the mirror, looking yourself in the eyes and expressing love towards yourself and your body. Hold your gaze and truly see yourself in these moments. Mirror work can be a powerful practice, if you find this difficult at first, see what emotions and stories surface, allow your body to release them and work on this relationship and connection to your true self. Can you look yourself in the eyes and say "I love you"?

Intuitively Choose Your Aromatherapy - When selecting essential oil/s for your diffuser, body oils or anointment practices, with intention ask your body or house what blend of oils/plant medicine would best serve and support them today? Follow your gaze, listen to your inner voice and trust your knowing.

Infuse Your Morning Cacao/Tea/Chai/Coffee With Intention - Mindfully prepare your morning brew of choice (perhaps adding any extracts your body asks for today) and take a few moments before drinking to infuse it with your intention/s. Simply hold your cup, close your eyes, connect to your breath and bring to mind or state aloud your aim/purpose. This could be as simple as bringing a state of calm to your body, receiving the nourishment from the plant medicine, or perhaps to go about your day in a heart-led way, whatever you feel!

  7. Begin Each Meal With Gratitude & Intention - Pause before consuming your food, breathe, extend gratitude to these ingredients and to the Earth and set the intention to nourish your body with this meal.
