Eden Tree Eco partners with reforestation non-profit One Tree Planted

“One for One” Initiative Dedicated To Planting Trees 

We care deeply about the planet and creating a business that gives back to nature. That’s why we’re thrilled to share that today we have officially partnered with One Tree Planted/@onetreeplanted to plant a tree for every product sold through Eden Tree Eco.

Working with One Tree Planted is a great fit for Eden Tree Eco because sustainability is at the core of our business model and it’s great to have another way to give back and help the environment.

The objectives of this new partnership include:

• Supporting global reforestation efforts
• Empowering Eden Tree Eco's valued customers to contribute to sustainable action for our shared planet
• Raising awareness about the importance of ecosystem restoration

Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Trees also provide tremendous social impacts by providing jobs to over 1.6 billion people, empowering women in underdeveloped nations, and supporting communities devastated by environmental damage.

As may be evident from our company name, we LOVE trees and all they do for life on planet Earth.  Planting trees and encouraging others to do the same is therefore one of our favourite things.  For every purchase made from Eden Tree Eco’s inventory, we will give $1 to One Tree Planted to plant one tree. The trees are planted by local partner organisations and community volunteers in areas where there has been deforestation.

Specifically, in Australia, your purchases will contribute to planting millions of trees nationally to recover forests affected by the 2019-20 Black Summer Bushfires and restore native habitat vital for wildlife.  With over 123 million hectares of native forests, Australia has the seventh largest forest area in the world, making up three per cent of the Earth’s forests. These forests are unique and varied – ranging from ancient Gondwana rainforest and tropical mangroves to extensive bush lands made up of native acacia, melaleuca and eucalyptus trees. By planting trees in Australia, together we'll be creating habitat corridors for koalas in New South Wales and Victoria, enhancing biodiversity in Western Australia, and promoting sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices with landowners.
